ABOUT

I am a student at the University of North Florida majoring in communications with a specialization in multimedia journalism, along with a minor in business management. My lifelong love of sports has pushed me to combining my interest in writing and public speaking with my love of all things athletics. Over the past year, I have worked on my own website, Raised on Gators, which covers all things athletics regarding the University of Florida Gators. I have been able to attend athletic events such as games, practices and media days with the opportunity of interviewing players and updating in regards to what goes on within the university. I have experience with many social media apps such as Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram for both personal and business accounts. I also have knowledge in working Microsoft Office programs such as Word and PowerPoint. My interest in public speaking has also pushed me to enroll into classes that improve my speaking to audiences and to cameras, while also giving me the ability to learn how to edit videos. My goal is to be able to merge my love for sports to create a platform where people can form their own opinion on a topic in sports while also valuing my own opinion.
